MARCH 2nd – TEDx Grand Canyon University 2017
Make sure to mark your calendars for March 2nd. SMART founder, Dr. John DenBoer, will be speaking about the myth of dementia at the TEDx event at Grand Canyon University in Glendale, Arizona. This is a great event that was organized about students at GCU in hopes to bring the community together through 20 diverse and inspiring speakers.
MARCH 8th – Venture Madness 2017
We are proud to be one of the final 16 local startups that will be pitching at Venture Madness starting March 8th. The event is held at the Hotel Valley Ho in Scottsdale, Arizona and is planned to last all weekend long. SMART will be competing to earn some or even all of a $300,000 investment pool from regional investors. It started with 64 startups and we are honored to be one of the last 16. June – This is Dementia documentary
Dr. DenBoer has been working endlessly on his mission to prevent dementia. He is starring in a Netflix documentary that is to be released in June. The documentary, This is Dementia, ventures into the life and work of Dr. DenBoer and his countless efforts in dementia prevention and spreading awareness. This is Dementia will take you on a journey that explains just why Dr. DenBoer is so passionate about preventing dementia.
