The documentary, This is Dementia, is set to premier this Thursday, April 11th at the FilmBar in downtown Phoenix.
Dr. John DenBoer, local dementia specialist, has been on a mission to mitigate dementia. We all know that dementia is growing at an alarming rate and with no cure, the numbers are only expected to rise. Dr. DenBoer has made it his focus to make an impact in the community to spread awareness and mitigate the onset of dementia with cognitive therapy.
This is Dementia follows Dr. DenBoer on his journey making a difference in the dementia community. During his adventures, he found that not many people know about dementia. So he has focused on teaching others about the risk of dementia and debunking the many myths surrounding it.
The semi-formal event is free, but donations are encouraged to benefit the Arizona Community Foundation. Valet is available along with food and drinks.
With a donation of $250, you will receive 2 extra drinks tickets and reserved front row seating.
With a donation of $500, you will receive 2 extra drinks tickets, reserved front row seating and a ticket to Dr. DenBoer’s book release this fall.
