At SMART Brain Aging, we are dedicated to spreading awareness about dementia. That is why we are proud to be part of the Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s for the 2nd year in a row1
The walk happens to be the world’s largest event focused on raising awareness and funds to support Alzheimer’s care and research and it is coming to Phoenix on November 11th!
The Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s is held annually across 600 different communities, including 7 locations in our region. The annual walk calls on participants of all ages to come together to spread awareness and raise funds to fight against the disease and to reclaim the future of millions.
The Alzheimer’s Association’s vision is a world without Alzheimer’s Disease. The walk not only raises the level of Alzheimer’s awareness across the community, it also provides fundraising dollars that goes to fuel their mission, to eliminate Alzheimer’s disease through the advancement of research, to provide and enhance care and support for all affected and to reduce the risk of dementia through the promotion of brain health.
It is free to join the walk, but the Alzheimer’s Association encourages you and your team to raise funds to contribute to their mission while also spreading awareness and education throughout your community.
When you sign up for the walk, the Alzheimer’s Association will provide helpful free and easy to use tools to support your fundraising goals and to help recruit other to donate or join your team.
Last year was the first year that I attended the Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s and it was beyond inspiring. My grandfather suffered from Alzheimer’s and it was heartbreaking to see someone go through that, especially someone I love. The Phoenix community really came together for the walk to raise awareness along with money to help the Alzheimer’s Association continue their fight against Alzheimer’s and to help those impacted by the disease.
We welcome anyone to join our SMART Brain Aging team and donations are greatly appreciated! Together we can end Alzheimer’s!
Thank you for your support,
